- Provide comprehensive urgent care, occupational medicine, and minor primary care services.
- Perform physical examinations, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Conduct and interpret diagnostic testing including X-rays, EKGs, and point-of-care lab tests.
- Perform minor procedures such as wound care, suturing, incision and drainage, abscess management, and splinting.
- Conduct occupational health exams including DOT physicals, pre-employment, post-accident, and return-to-work evaluations.
- Participate in the management of employer accounts, ensuring compliance with company protocols.
- Accurately document all patient encounters in the EMR (Experity) in real-time to ensure proper coding and billing compliance.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Medical Director and Medical Director to enhance workflow efficiency, staff training, and clinical quality.
- Provide guidance and support to medical assistants and front-desk staff in patient care coordination.
- Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and Washington State Department of Health regulations.
- Maintain a professional, compassionate, and patient-centered approach at all times.
- Active Washington State Medical License (MD/DO/PA/ARNP).
- Active DEA registration.
- DOT/FMCSA Certified Medical Examiner (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred.
- Experience with Experity EMR or similar urgent care documentation systems.
- Certified Civil Surgeon MD, DO Only (or willingness to obtain within 1 month of start).
- Experience with occupational medicine, workers’ compensation, and immigration medical exams.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Flexible schedule (minimum 2–3 shifts per week; 4–5 hours per shift).
- Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience and certifications (paid as a 1099 independent contractor).
- Strong diagnostic and procedural skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to quality patient care and documentation accuracy.
- Team-oriented with leadership potential and initiative.
