Summary
Manage operations for a primary care/urgent care clinic through leadership, teamwork, and customer service orientation. Has primary responsibility for the supervision, scheduling, and performance of all clinical staff and providers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Provide leadership and direction to clinical staff and providers through morning huddles, daily communication, and ongoing review and evaluation of clinic operations.
· Develop and maintain a work culture of high performance, high customer satisfaction, and high efficiency, by ensuring staff and providers are providing prompt, complete, and timely service to patients.
· Monitor various key performance indicators and put programs in place for continuous improvement.
· Recruit, hire, and complete onboarding processes for various roles; medical receptionist, medical assistant, lab technician, x-ray, and other positions.
· Maintain and adjust work schedules and ensure optimal staffing across functional areas within clinic and amongst other clinics based on volume needs.
· Supervise, evaluate, and execute performance evaluations of non-provider staff.
· Work collaboratively with providers to ensure providers and support staff are working cohesively and with common purpose.
· Ensure staff compliance with company policies and procedures and state and federal rules and regulations
· Ensure employees are adequately trained to perform assigned duties safely and correctly.
· Monitor clinic activity and patient flow to ensure efficient and effective patient care
· Ensure that medical care is delivered in accordance with physician instructions
· Investigate and resolve patient and staff concerns while continually monitoring patient satisfaction through various tool.
· Ensure compliance with front office procedures and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
· Ensure maintenance and cleanliness of facility through use of clinic staff and other support staff
· Ensure adequate stock of regular supplies and place orders for needed inventory
· Regular attendance to ensure efficient clinic operations. Ensure clinic has continuous supervision personally or through designated individuals during absences.

· Participate in team meetings with other clinic managers and director of operations.
· Participate in special projects as needed.
Qualifications
· College degree preferred.
· Minimum of two years’ experience working in a supervisory role in a medical office preferred
· Computer proficiency
· Demonstrated skills in written, verbal and consultative communications
· Ability to deliver high levels of customer service and achieve customer satisfaction
· Understanding of compliance and regulatory guidelines (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.)
· Understanding of revenue cycle management
Physical Demands/Work Environment (optional)
Clinic setting. Requires extended periods of standing and walking (more than 6 hours a day). Occasional stooping and kneeling. Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
