- Provide technical and functional support for clinical applications, including EHR systems, practice management software, and other healthcare IT tools.
- Troubleshoot issues reported by end users, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to clinical operations.
- Work with clinicians and other stakeholders to optimize system usage and implement enhancements that improve efficiency and patient care.
- Perform system testing, upgrades, and patches in collaboration with IT teams and software vendors.
- Assist in the planning, implementation, and deployment of new clinical applications or upgrades.
- Develop and deliver training programs for clinical and administrative staff to ensure effective utilization of applications.
- Create user documentation, workflows, and best practice guidelines.
- Support the integration of clinical applications with other IT systems (e.g., billing, laboratory, imaging, and pharmacy systems).
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
- Work with IT and clinical leadership to analyze and improve clinical workflows using data-driven insights.
- Act as a liaison between IT, clinical staff, and third-party vendors to ensure technology solutions meet operational and compliance needs.
- Maintain a strong understanding of healthcare regulations, interoperability standards, and industry best practices.
- Participate in on-call support rotation as needed.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in health informatics, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting clinical applications in a healthcare environment. Experience with EHR systems (such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth) preferred.

- Proficiency in application support, troubleshooting, and workflow analysis.

- Understanding of healthcare IT standards (HL7, FHIR, HIPAA).

- SQL and report-building experience is a plus.

- Experience with Radiology PACS, reporting tools, or clinical data analytics.
