- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic laboratory tests.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage electronic health documentation.
- Prepare and administer medications as directed by physicians.
- Educate patients on treatment plans and preventive healthcare measures.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant program preferred.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Compassionate demeanor with a patient-centered approach.
- Current CPR certification is a plus.
