Location: AFC Urgent Care – Union City, NJ
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2:00 PM–8:00 PM + Occasional Weekends
As the first face patients see when they walk through our doors, you'll help create a welcoming and professional environment. You’ll be responsible for managing front desk operations and ensuring smooth communication between patients and clinical staff.
- Greet and register patients; collect personal and insurance information
- Assist patients with online registration and forms
- Answer questions about services, wait times, and procedures
- Schedule and confirm appointments and follow-ups
- Maintain and update patient records and charts
- Verify insurance details and handle billing/co-pay processing
- Keep the front desk clean, stocked, and organized
- Communicate effectively with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Answer phones and assist with administrative tasks as needed

Experience: 6 months–1 year in a fast-paced medical front desk or receptionist role

Language Skills: Fluent in English and Spanish (both spoken and written)

Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using medical software, online forms, and Microsoft Office

Customer Service Mindset: Friendly, helpful, and always patient-focused

Weekend Availability: Must be open to working occasional weekends

Strong Communication & Multitasking Skills: Able to manage phones, patients, and paperwork seamlessly
