Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Job Type: Part Time, Per Diem, On-call
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team. This is a part time, Per Diem or On-call position requiring the ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to our patients. DOT certified prefer, IV placement proficient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results.
- Prescribe medications and monitor patient progress.
- Provide patient education and counsel on lifestyle modifications, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Provide care across the lifespan, including [insert specific patient population, e.g., pediatrics, adults, geriatrics, etc.].
- Respond to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
- DOT Certified
- Workers Comp Knowledgeable
- IV placement Proficient
Shift Requirements:
- Must be available to work 12-hour shifts.
- Weekend shifts are required.
- Flexibility to cover additional shifts as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in nursing with a Nurse Practitioner program completion.
- Current, valid Nurse Practitioner license in [state].
- Current Certifications
- Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment.
- Prior experience in [specific clinical area or setting] preferred.
