- Utilizes site-specific and individual-specific data to help drive change
- Monitors lab and x-ray review process and ensures they are completed
- Supports the moderate-complexity lab as the medical director
- Works with leadership to develop clinical pathways to reduce unwarranted practice variation and measure for success
- Completes quality of care incident reports as assigned and utilizes findings to help individuals, sites, and the organization improve
- Develops a project per year to improve quality, safety, service and value
- Provides clinical oversight of APPs as required
- Supports the peer review process
- Mentors, coaches and develops members of the team utilizing qualitative and quantitative data
- Completes performance reviews
- Partners with recruiting to find talent and build teams
- Leads meetings and staff meetings as assigned
- Participates and leads in committee and work group meetings
- Develops educational programming and support as assigned
- Builds community relationships
- Ensures DOT training and testing is completed on new hires within 90 days
- Provides afterhours call as needed for clinics experience.
- Develops department budgets and capital budgets with operational partners
- Helps to ensure appropriate volumes of patients being seen at the clinics
- Ensures appropriate documentation is completed for visits by working with RCM
- Supports providers in completing coder feedback
- Works across providers to ensure “visits on hold” are complete
- 5+ Years of Clinical Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Medicine
- 2+ Years of Experience in Previous Medical Leadership Role
- Ability to Travel to Sites Across a Region as Needed
- Licensed provider in the state of practice
- Ability to work well independently evaluating and managing patients
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly and customer-service oriented
- Able to work well in team environment
- DOT certification or the ability to be certified within 90 days of employment
- CPR training
- Performance Improvement Training and Experience
- MBA, MHA or Other Advanced Degree
